Abstract
The Lle Llais ("Voice Place") project set out to understand how children experience belonging — and how trauma and adverse childhood experiences (TrACEs) shape that sense of place and identity. Working across communities in Anglesey, the project adopted a trauma-informed approach, supporting children through a programme of arts and nature-based activities designed to give them a safe and expressive space in which to articulate their experiences of place, belonging and wellbeing.
